Project: Albert Road flat Sitting Room and Kitchen
Create a light and airy open-plan living and cooking space
The Victorian flat which looks out over the Firth of Clyde to the Argyll Hills was subject to a complete renovation. Crucially, Louise moved the kitchen from the back of the flat to the front, took down the adjoining wall and created an open-plan kitchen/sitting room to enjoy the spectacular views.
A false chimney breast was installed to house the gas stove with a wood floor and bespoke bookcases, a neutral Farrow & Ball scheme gives the sense of bringing the outside in, embracing the stunning view across the water.
